アマミチューは島を作った「アマミキヨ」のこと。浜比嘉大橋を渡り、突き当りを左に進んだ場所にある小さな岩の島がアマミチュー・シルミチューの眠る墓だ。自然の隆起で出来たきのこ岩が目印になる。島の聖域な場所なので訪れる時は敬意を払おう。
Amamichu is the “amamikiyo” that created the island. The small rocky island where you cross the Hamahiga Bridge and go left at the end is the tomb where Amami Chu Sirmichu sleeps. The mushroom rock formed from natural ridges is a landmark. It's an island sanctuary, so be respectful when visiting.
