春になると桜が下千本～奥千本へ徐々に開花してゆき、世界遺産である山全体を美しく彩ります。吉野水分神社・金峰神社・金峯山寺・吉水神社など世界遺産の建造物を徒歩で回れるのも魅力的。夜にはライトアップも行われます。
