百舌鳥古墳群南東端にある日本で７番目に大きい古墳。百舌鳥古墳群の中ではもっとも新しく造られた大型前方後円墳（5世紀後半）。古墳群の中で最も精美といわれます。
Located at the southeastern end of the Mozu Kofun Group, it is the 7th largest tomb in Japan. This is the newest large keyhole-shaped tomb in the Mozu Kofun Group (latter half of the 5th century). It is said to be the most beautiful of the burial mounds.
