かつて竹神社があった静寂な杜「旧竹神社」。
竹神社は古くから多気を領していた多気の連の祖神を祀った神社で「桧木宮」とも言われていました。
明治44年に旧斎宮村内の23社が合祀されて、現在の場所に遷されました。
この神社跡には当時を偲ぶ、大きくて荘厳な石碑が建てられています。

Take-jinja Shrine is a shrine that enshrines the founder god of Takinoren, who ruled Taki since ancient times, and was also called “Hinokinomiya.”
In Meiji 44, 23 shrines in the former Saiku Village were merged and moved to their current location.
A large and majestic stone monument has been erected on the site of this shrine to remember those days.
