「感謝の碑」 水俣市より海底送水管で、御所浦町に水が送られたことを感謝して、御所浦町が建立した碑。「水俣市チェリーライン」 さくらの名所100選に選ばれたこと記念して建立された碑。
“Monument of Appreciation” A monument erected by Goshonoura Town in gratitude that water was sent to Goshonoura Town by an undersea water pipe from Minamata City. This monument was erected to commemorate being selected as one of the “Minamata City Cherry Line” 100 famous places for cherry blossoms.
