祭神は学問の神と知られる菅原道真公。受験シーズンには「とおします」の合い言葉に多くの祈願客が訪れる。国指定重要文化財。「十島（としま）」と呼ばれるのは、境内にある池に10の島があることから。神社を囲む高い杉の木が神秘的。
The enshrined deity is Sugawara Michizane, known as the god of learning. During the exam season, many prayers visit with the slogan “I'll do it.” A nationally designated important cultural property. It is called “Toshima (Toshima)” because there are 10 islands in the pond in the precincts. The tall cedar trees surrounding the shrine are mysterious.
