日本七大薬師のひとつ。山門に立つ「仁王像」に噛んだ紙つぶてを投げて、自分の病んでいる所にくっつくとご利益があると言われている。本堂裏手には病に効くという湧き水「月光水」がある。また縁結びにも御利益があると言われている。年４回大祭が開かれ多くの人々が参拝に訪れる。

It is said that there are benefits to throwing bitten paper scraps at the “statue of Nio” standing at the temple gate and sticking to one's sick place. Behind the main hall, there is a spring water called “Moonlight Water,” which is said to be good for sickness. Also, it is said that marriage has benefits. The festival is held four times a year, and many people visit to worship.
