宇治橋東詰、1160年創業、義政秀吉家康らも一服したと伝わる老舗。主人の家系は代々、宇治橋の橋守を務めた。店内の初代通園坐像は一休上人ゆかりの品。現在の建物は1672年築。「都名所図会」に描かれる。高級品から普及品、有機肥料栽培茶まで多彩な品揃え。
It is a long-established store on the east side of Ujibashi, founded in 1160, and is said to have taken a break with Yoshimasa Hideyoshi Ieyasu and others. My husband's family has served as the bridge manager of Ujibashi for generations. The first seated statue of Tsuen in the store is related to Ikyu Shonin. The current building was built in 1672. It is depicted in the “Map of Famous Places of Tokyo.” We have a diverse lineup of products, from high-class products to popular products to organic fertilizer cultivated tea.
