男鹿市船川港本山門前にある、なまはげの像。鬼が築き上げたという伝説がある近くの赤神神社五社堂の999段の石段にちなみ、高さは9.99mとなっている。同地区のシンボルとして、記念撮影のスポットにもなっている。
There is a statue of Namahage in front of Funagawa Port Motoyama Gate in Oga City. The height is 9.99 meters after the 999 stone steps of the nearby Akagami-jinja Goshado, where there is a legend that it was built by demons. As a symbol of the same area, it is also a spot for taking commemorative photos.
