If you climb the stairs of the first torii gate, a beautiful approach covered with blue maple leaves continues right in front of you to the main shrine. At Oharano-jinja Shrine, which is called Keikasuga, deer are regarded as messengers of the gods, and Komaka, not Komainu, watches over them in front of the main shrine. Be sure to check out the unique and cute prize items, such as deer omikuji and deer face votive plaques!
