安産と水上の安全に古くから信仰が厚い歩崎観音。歩崎観音表参道入口から続く階段沿いには、約10万年前以降の地層が見られる。また、境内にある歩崎展望台からは、茨城県指定文化財の名勝第１号にふさわしい景観を望むことができる。
Ayumizaki Kannon has long had a strong belief in safe delivery and safety on the water. Strata from about 100,000 years ago can be seen along the stairs leading from the Ayuzaki Kannon Omotesando entrance. Also, from the Ayumizaki Observatory in the precincts, you can see a landscape suitable as the No. 1 cultural property designated by Ibaraki Prefecture.
