幅100メートルほどの荒川を堰き止めたダム。折原橋から眺めると緑色の6門の巨大なローラーゲートと、皆野寄居（みなのよりい）バイパスの赤い橋脚とのコントラストが美しい。
A dam that dammed the Arakawa River, which is about 100 meters wide. Seen from Orihara Bridge, the contrast between the huge green roller gate with 6 gates and the red pier of the Minano Yorii (Minano Yorii) Bypass is beautiful.
