上熊本から県道1号線を進むと見える、加藤清正公ゆかりの名刹。境内には、清正公をまつる浄池廟や銅像などが建てられている。
A famous temple associated with Prince Kato Kiyomasa, which can be seen if you go on Prefectural Route 1 from Kamikumamoto. In the precincts, there are the Joike Mausoleum and bronze statues that enshrine Prince Kiyomasa.
