大永年間（1521～27）良雅僧正の開山と伝えられています。真言宗豊山派。春には桜やつつじが楽しめる、豊かな緑の中の静かなお寺です。
The Taiei era (1521-27) is said to have been the founder of Ryōga Sōshō. Buyama school of the Shingon sect. It is a quiet temple amidst rich greenery where you can enjoy cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring.
