埼玉と群馬の県境を結ぶ利根大堰は、農業用水や県南、東京方面へ都市用水を送水することを目的に建設されたんだ。「大堰自然の観察室」では初夏には鮎、秋にはサケが遡上する姿を観察することができるよ。
Tone Ozeki, which connects the prefectural border between Saitama and Gunma, was built for the purpose of delivering agricultural water and urban water to the southern part of the prefecture and the Tokyo area. At the “Ozeki Nature Observation Room,” you can observe ayu in early summer and salmon running up in the fall.
