道の駅のすぐそばにある八坂神社の境内には、樹齢3000年以上とも言われる国の特別天然記念物「杉の大杉」がある。南大杉、北大杉の２本が根本でつながっているそうで、夫婦杉とも呼ばれ、圧巻の眺め！
