獅子尾坂をのぼりつめたところにある世尊寺跡の一角を「花矢倉」といいます。謡曲「忠信」の舞台にもなった所で、源義経の家来であった佐藤忠信が独り踏みとどまり、追手に矢を射かけてたところとされています。付近は、眼下の吉野山の街並みや、金剛葛城の山並みが一望できる絶好のビューポイントです。
A corner of the Seson-ji Temple ruins at the top of Shishiozaka is called “Flower Yagura.” It was also the setting for the pop song “Tadanobu,” and it is said that Sato Tadanobu, who was Minamoto Yoshitsune's retainer, stayed alone and shot an arrow at his pursuer. The nearby area is a great viewpoint where you can overlook the streets of Mt. Yoshino below and the mountains of Kongo Katsuragi.
