出雲大社神楽殿の大しめ縄をはじめ、全国の神社などへしめ縄を制作奉納する飯南町のしめ縄文化を伝承する施設。しめ縄制作の工房見学ほか、しめ縄づくりの体験などを楽しめる。
This facility conveys the Shimenawa culture of Iinan Town, which makes and dedicates shimenawa to shrines all over the country, including the large shimenawa at the Izumo Taisha Kaguraden. In addition to visiting a shimenawa making workshop, you can also enjoy the experience of making shimenawa.
