The enshrined deity is Japanese Takeru. It is the oldest shrine that enshrines Japanese Takeru in Japan, and was worshipped by many people during the Kamakura period as the “Hitachi Third Shrine.” There are “Sakaki” and “Enmatsuzushi” hand-planted by Prince Mitsukuni in the precincts, and it has long been said that if you tie these bamboo leaves, you will be blessed with good relationships. Locally, they are loved by “Yoshida-san,” and the annual festival is being held grandly on October 15 and 16 (currently Friday, Saturday, and Sunday close to Japan).
