若狭小浜は奈良時代から京へ塩や海産物等を納める「御食国」(みけつくに)としての役割を果たしてきました。その地元、若狭小浜の厳選素材を使い「お菓子を通じて人に笑顔を」をモットーに一つ一つ丹念に作り上げています。
Wakasa Kohama has played a role as a “food country” (Miketsukuni) that brought salt and marine products to Kyoto since the Nara period. Using carefully selected ingredients from the local Wakasa Kohama region, they are carefully crafted one by one under the motto “bring smiles to people through sweets.”
