源頼朝に「日本一の剛の者」と称された武将・熊谷次郎直実の遺骨が祀られたと伝わる小堂。春には見事なしだれ桜が小堂を守るように咲き誇り、熊谷桜と呼ばれ愛されている。

This small hall is said to have enshrined the remains of Kumagai Jiro Naozane, a military commander called “the most powerful person in Japan” by Minamoto no Yoritomo. In spring, splendid weeping cherry blossoms bloom to protect the small hall, and they are called Kumagaya cherry blossoms and are loved.
