昭和を代表する造園学者・重森三玲は吉備中央町吉川地区の出身。記念館では、同氏が残した書画や庭園実測図など、貴重な資料の数々を展示している。また、茶室「天籟庵」や、同茶室移設の際に晩年の同氏が作った露地庭も必見。
Mirei Shigemori, a landscape architect representing the Showa era, is from the Yoshikawa district of Kibichuo-cho. At the memorial hall, a number of valuable materials are exhibited, such as calligraphy and paintings left by him and actual garden maps. Also, don't miss the teahouse “Tenryan” and the open-air garden that the same man made in his later years when the teahouse was relocated.
