天正10年（1582）、滝川一益と北条氏邦・氏直の合戦「神流川合戦」の舞台となった古戦場。酷暑の中、史上稀なる激闘となった。
An old battlefield that was the setting for the battle “Battle of Kannagawa River” between Kazumasu Takigawa and Hojo Ujikuni and Ujinao in Tensho 10 (1582). Amidst the intense heat, it was a fierce battle rare in history.
