面積約43ha（東京ドーム約9個分）の広さを持つ風致公園です。春はお花見広場や草原の桜は満開となり、カタクリ、イチリンソウ、ニリンソウ、イカリソウなど、市内では希少となった春の妖精たちが可憐な花を見せてくれます。夏は蝉しぐれが響き渡る緑の小道にヤマユリやキツネノカミソリが咲き誇ります。秋はイロハモミジなど15種約500本のカエデ類など色鮮やかな紅葉が水辺に映え、いずみ橋からの眺めは格別です。冬には多くの野鳥が飛来し、オシドリなどを見ることができます。

In spring, cherry blossoms in cherry blossom viewing plazas and grasslands are in full bloom, and spring fairies that have become rare in the city, such as katakuri, ichirinso, and epiphyllum, show pretty flowers. In summer, mountain lilies and fox razors bloom in full bloom along the green path where cicadas crawl. In autumn, colorful autumn leaves, such as 15 types of Japanese maples and about 500 maple trees, shine on the waterside, and the view from Izumi Bridge is exceptional. In winter, many wild birds fly in, and you can see mandarins, etc.
