「塞神」とは邪気悪霊を食い止めたり疫病の侵入を防ぐ道祖神のことで、その神の名前が由来。春には峠看板を覆う桜の姿が美しい。
“Seishin” is Doso-jin, which stops evil spirits and prevents the invasion of plagues, and the name of that god comes from. The cherry blossoms covering the mountain pass sign are beautiful in spring.
