推定樹齢600年の巨大な「あこう樹」が三崎港近くに今でも見事な根をおろし、タコの足が巻き付いたようにも見えるので「タコの木」とも呼ばれ、クワ科の亜熱帯植物で、この地が生育の北限といわれています。
