熊野川の支流、高田川のさらに支流の桑ノ木渓谷にかかる落差21mの瀑布。日本の滝101選にも選ばれる名瀑は、その昔に滝の周囲に桑の木がたくさん生えていたことからこの名前が付けられたそうです。
This waterfall has a height of 21 meters over the Kuwanogi Valley, a tributary of the Kumano River and a further tributary of the Takada River. The famous waterfall, which has been selected as one of Japan's top 101 waterfalls, seems to have been named because many mulberry trees grew around the waterfall a long time ago.
