「平成の名水百選」選出の金峰山湧水群の一つ。河内中学校の裏手にあるイチョウの大木の根元から、清水が湧き出ている。
It is one of the Kinpusan spring groups selected as one of the “Heisei 100 Famous Waters.” Fresh water springs from the base of a large ginkgo tree behind Kawachi Junior High School.
