あわら湯のまち駅の目の前はあわら温泉の温泉街。無料の足湯なども楽しめます。あわら温泉から福井市街へ戻る場合は、えちぜん鉄道あわら湯のまち駅からサイクルトレインを利用できます。汐見公園から「三国・あわらサイクリングコース」を通って自転車で行くこともできます。
