平均勾配7%「つがいけサイクルクラシック」公式コース。姫川沿いの起点から1kmごとに設置された道標を辿り標高1,800mのゴールを目指す。旅館街手前でパノラマが開け、スキー場内の静かな林道を駆け上がる。ビューポイントからはふもとの集落や戸隠・妙高連山も望め、ゴール地点の先にある栂池自然公園は高山植物の楽園だ。

“Tsugaike Cycle Classic” official course with an average slope of 7%. Follow the signs set up every 1 km from the starting point along the Himekawa River and aim for the goal at an altitude of 1,800 meters. A panoramic view opens in front of the ryokan district, and you run up a quiet forest road inside the ski resort. You can also see the village at the foot of the mountain and the Togakushi-Myoko Mountains from the viewpoint, and Tsugaike Nature Park, which is beyond the goal point, is a paradise for alpine plants.
